Liron Sissman, MBA
Principal

Liron Sissman is a life sciences business development and strategy executive who advises biopharmaceutical, medtech, and adjacent industries on growth, market entry, and value creation. She has held senior leadership roles in business development at biopharmaceutical companies, leading and executing approximately $2 billion in transactions across licensing, M&A, and strategic partnerships with public companies, private equity-backed organizations, and emerging ventures. Having negotiated from both the buy side and the sell side, she brings a practical sense for finding creative structures that align parties and move partnerships forward.

Through Luminant, Liron advises life science executives on growth strategy, market positioning, and business development opportunities that often extend beyond traditional deal-making, from identifying adjacent revenue streams and prioritizing new platform use cases to raising capital, modeling new businesses, and optimizing portfolios to maximize valuation. Her consulting work has included architecting a growth strategy for a rare disease-focused service that drove a significant valuation uplift and supported its acquisition by a private equity firm, and developing the strategic portfolio valuation and business case that enabled a pharmaceutical company to secure a private placement and complete a successful spinout. Liron holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
